The Days Hotel Wakefield is the first of seven Days Hotel properties currently under development with Kew Green and other partners in the United Kingdom. Properties in Belfast, Northern Ireland, and South Ruislip, Middlesex, are scheduled to open this year. They will join the existing portfolio of 24 Days Inn-franchised hotels in the United Kingdom.
The Days Hotel concept was established in the United States in 1993 as an extension of the Days Inn brand. It specializes in full service properties, with many locations offering restaurants, lounges, meeting rooms, banquet facilities and health clubs. "We are very excited about the addition of our first Days Hotel in the United Kingdom as we continue to play a leading role in the global market for franchised hotels," said Days Inn President Joe Kane.
