Jones Lang LaSalle's managing director for project and development services Kevin Wayer tells GlobeSt.com that the five-year deal is worth an estimated $29 million. In addition, the arrangement calls for an extension of Jones Lang LaSalle's 2000 contract with the Air Force to supply advisory and housing portfolio management assistance for the nationwide program.
"These housing privatization programs underscore the Air Force's commitment to improving the quality of housing and life for its active military personnel and their families with better homes and improved operations secured via the private sector," Wayer explains in a statement announcing the news. Jones Lang LaSalle's involvement with the US Military extends beyond the Air Force. The company is on board as an advisor and installation facilitator for the US Army's 16 upcoming privatization projects.
