Claire Roberts of brokered the deal on behalf of Tex-Six Associates LLC.The purchaser, The Friends of DCI (Development Centers Inc.), has been atenant at McNichols building for more than 12 years. With this purchasethey will be expanding their operation over the entire property.
Grant Bruce, also of Signature, recently represented Whitehall RealEstate Interests, the owner of 21133 Bridge Street in Southfield, in leasingtheir 15,000-sf building located in Bridge Industrial Park. Trammell Crow represented the tenant, Lear Corp.
Bruce previously represented Blue Water Technologies in the sale of thisbuilding to Whitehall Real Estate Interests in late 2001.Bruce also negotiated the sale of two office properties in Ferndale. The 1,500-sf 1021 Livernois sold for$200,000, with Bruce representing both the seller, Greg Eitelman, and the buyer,Kwasnik Properties.The 2,800-sf 1900 Hilton sold for $215,000. Grant representedboth the seller, The Big Idea, and the buyer, FBT Productions, which will be using it for anew recording studio.
Finally, Bruce and Sam Munaco represented the law firm of Berry Moorman inthe search and acquisition of new office space in Ann Arbor, approximately4,200 sf of office space at Atrium Office Center located at 900Victors Way.
