Don Swanson of Westlake Village-based Westcord says the buyer acquired the fully leased, 15,000-sf structure at 166 N. Moorpark Rd. in Thousand Oaks from a Los Angeles-based private investor. Swanson and Tony Principe of Westcord represented the buyer and the seller.
Swanson, who was the leasing agent for the 1960s vintage building, says the new owner currently is in the process of remodeling the three-story concrete block structure. He tells GlobeSt.com that Westcord believes medical building is the first of its type that was constructed in Thousand Oaks, a community where most development has occurred in the past 30 or 40 years. He says the facility is leased to a variety of tenants, mostly medical firms or practices. The seller owned the building for about 25 years.
