Peltz has overseen the design, development and implementation of the brokerage firm's information technology, creating what Green describes as "an infrastructure of data and communications for the firm that enables brokers to share real-time information nationwide."
Peltz, who is based in the Encino office, joined the firm as director of information services in 1997. Since then, he has been responsible for the design and launch of a number of Web-based tools, including the company's intranet. He also enhanced the firm's external website, which was one of the first live update websites in the brokerage industry.
Peltz was named a first vice president in 1999 and promoted to chief information officer in 2001. He has more than 20 years of experience in information technology and was named among the nation's premier IT leaders in the January 2002 issue of Computerworld magazine.
