Jeffrey Albee in the San Fernando Valley office of Sperry Van Ness says the investment was attractive to the buyer because of its close proximity to nearby executive housing as well as its location near the Warner Center office, entertainment and shopping complex. He adds that the property also is close to the new Calabasas Commons shopping center and the 101 freeway.
The property is a single-building complex at 5146 Douglas Fir Rd. The new owners, planning a move soon, will occupy 7,500 sf to take the complex to 100% occupancy.
Albee, who represented the buyer, also brokered for the seller along with Dan Wakumoto, Dan Powers and Tom McBride of the Sperry Van Ness San Fernando Valley office. The seller had owned the property since it was built in 1987.
