Rich Sica of Daum Commercial Real Estate Services in Phoenix tells GlobeSt.com that the freestanding warehouse at 3948 East Air Lane previously used as an auto maintenance and storage facility. It was on the market just four months when Mesa Air signed the $500,000 triple net, five-year deal.
"People are now leasing because the airport has put its expansion on hold," Sica said of the once stagnant airport submarket. Mesa Air, which selected the location because of its airport proximity, moved into the facility and its accompanying one acre of land in the past month. Sica along with Jeff Hulseweh, also with Daum Commercial Real Estate, represented both the tenant and building owner in the transaction.
