Dickinson Distributing Inc. signed a mid-term lease for 9,000 sf at 611 Magic Mile in Arlington, deal making that boosted the 115,000-sf Triangle Service Center to full. The inbound tenant, moving from across the street, disrtibutes accessory equipment for police and fire vehicles. Dan Lawson, marketing director for Proterra Properties Inc.'s Dallas office, negotiated the pact single handedly.

In another Proterra-owned building, Green Knight Corp., a cleaning products supplier, moved into 10,202 sf into the 60,000-sf Commercial Distribution Center II at 1425 Exchange Dr. in Richardson. Lawson negotiated the mid-term lease with the tenant's representative, Ronald Putnam,m an independent broker from Dallas. Proterra's five buildings in the multi-structure park are now 80% leased.

A start-up company, PackTech Inc., unlocked doors on its first location at 915 Avenue N. in the Grand Prairie portion of the Great Southwest Industrial District. The tenant, penning a long-term lease for 7,500 sf, is a distributor and fabricator of custom packaging.

Dunn Commercial LP of Arlington brokered the deal with Don Davis representing the building owner, Synermark Investments Inc., and Greg Morris acting as the tenant's representative. The 160,000-sf building is now 95% leased.

Also in the door is Platinum Motor Cars, which leased 4,800 sf of ofice/warehouse space at Plaza del Sol at 1223 Corporate Dr. in Arlington. The Great Southwest building is owned by Cityspace Inc., whose interests were represented at the bargaining table by its in-house broker, Pam Helton.

The tenant has set up a showroom and detailing area for vehicle sales. Davis, who negotiated on the tenant's behalf, says the leased site will house 30 vehicles under the roof, a selling point for the signing.
