The lease term with Affiliated Computer Services is for five years.
ACS, headquartered in Dallas, utilizes the space at Old Saw Mill River Road address as a regional office and data center, according to Maureen O'Boyle, senior director with Cushman & Wakefield. O'Boyle and Cushman & Wakefield Associate Andrew Carney represented ACS in the transaction. Jim Brierly of LCOR Inc. represented the building owner in the deal.
O'Boyle said ACS had considered other properties in Westchester before deciding on signing the expansion deal at Landmark at Eastview. She noted that the critical factors that led the firm to deciding to stay put included: "favorable economics, quality amenities and extensive existing infrastructure for its data center."
The lease deal puts the property, which totals approximately 386,000-sf of space, at near full occupancy.
ACS, which is a provider of business process and information technology outsourcing services, also reports that it has opened a new "business processing outsourcing" facility at the Montgomeryville Industrial Center in Montgomeryville, Pa. The 65,000-sf high-tech facility will initially employ 100 workers.
