Davidson tells GlobeSt.com that the location is housing back-office functions and serving as a disaster recovery center. He says recovery centers must be a set distance from the primary locations which, in the bank's case, are located in the Galleria and Greenspoint submarkets. Bancomer operates more 1,600 branches in Mexico, offering a full gamut of services for commercial and residential customers.
The owner of record for the 104,515-sf, 21-year-old office building is Transwestern Katy Freeway LP. Greg Tilton in the Houston office of Transwestern Commercial Services represented the building owner in the lease negotiations.
