"It gave them the expansion they required along with a great lease rate," Pat Harlan, of Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona Inc., tells GlobeSt.com.

Harlan said the firm, which holds the patent on acrylic block windows, signed the $297,000 lease deal on the freestanding building at 3621 E. Wier Ave. in the 40th Street and Broadway industrial park one month after the space went on the market.

The company's move in mid-July will increase the firm's size by 5,000 sf, Harlan notes. Builder's Accessories is presently located in 10,000 sf at 3853 E Weir Ave., just down the block from its new location.

Both Harlan and Steve Sayre, also with Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona, represented the tenant in the lease negotiations. The Phoenix-based landlord was assisted by Curtis Brown, Rick Collins and Cami Boyd of Ross Brown Partners.
