The new assignments include TIAA-CREF's 435,000-sf 6500 Wilshire Blvd. building, the 420,000-sf Sony Pictures Studio Plaza in Burbank, and the 583,000-sf Garret Group portfolio of seven Class A office properties.

The 6500 Wilshire Blvd. building is an asset of Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association College Retirement Equities Fund. The 23-story office tower formerly was managed by Prentiss Properties and was 97% leased at the time Insignia won its contract.

Studio Plaza is at 3400 Riverside Dr. in the Burbank Media District and formerly was managed by Jones Lang LaSalle. Insignia will manage the building for Sony Pictures Entertainment. The property is adjacent to Warner Bros. Studios and is minutes from Disney, NBC Studios and the Ventura Freeway.

The Garret Group portfolio consists of buildings in Ontario, Corona and Redlands. The office buildings formerly were owned by Equity Office Properties Trust and were managed in-house by Equity.
