"It's a pretty big step for us," Mark Loberg, vice president of the four-year-old company tells GlobeSt.com of the $2.5-million project which will more than triple the company's size. Currently located in the Scottsdale Air Park, Loberg said the firm selected the Deer Valley location because of reasonable land costs and a prime location close to the Valley's freeway system.
"Scottsdale land prices were just too expensive for the size we needed," said Loberg. "This was a good location for us to buy a good piece of land that was priced well and close to the freeways. "The Deer Valley area gave us the right location and access to the growing housing centers both to the north and the west."
Loberg said the firm plans to use about half of the three acres for its new facility, reserving the remainder of the property for future expansion. Designed by Bob Winton of Winton Architects of Phoenix, the building will be constructed by SunState Builders of Tempe.
