Visitors must register on the site to sell property and look at the variousparcels. The site opened last week, and currently there are 10 industrialbuildings, 34 commercial buildings and more than 225 vacant parcelsfeatured.

Bob Boyd, CEO and founder of LandChronicles.com,says that through the years, most agents have avoided this market niche, taking the easier route of re-selling developedproperties. Selling vacant land takes more due-diligence on the agent'spart; either preparing the land for market or working with a buyer tofacilitate the purchase, according to Boyd.

"Any buyer who has ever attempted to find a vacant lot, or any builder wholooks for parcels regularly, will tell you that finding vacant land can bedifficult," Boyd says. "If you're shopping for vacant land anywhere in the state, and youdecide to call a broker, you'll probably find it hard to get any informationabout the property, especially if the person you talk to is not the listingagent. This obviously leads to a lot of frustration."
