Hite, one of the founding principals of the firm, will be responsible for directing the daily operations of the three principal divisions: real state management, leasing and investment sales, and finance. In addition, Hite will be responsible for client relations, marketing and public relations.
Galentine, also a principal and co-founder, explains the duties that Hite will perform as president previously were shared by the principals of the firm, but the newly created posts for Hite, Galentine and Meyers represent a response to the continued growth of Coreland and a need to have the duties more formalized. Galentine's new position will put him at the helm of Kensington, Coreland Cos.' affiliated commercial property acquisition firm. Along with Hite, he will continue playing a key role in the strategic planning and growth of the company.
Meyers, as director of real estate management, will oversee a staff of approximately 50 real estate management specialists and administrative support personnel located in the corporate and field offices. In her previous position of real estate manager, Meyers was responsible for a portfolio of properties in Orange and Los Angeles counties. In her newposition, she will take over the day-to-day operational role in the real estate management division that was formerly performed by Hite.
Coreland Cos. is a full-service commercial real estate company with expertise in retail, office and industrial properties. The company's portfolio exceeds 100 properties and totals more than 13 million sf.
