Regal Beverage of Houston signed a long-term lease at the park, part of the FM 1960 submarket, Cory King with the Houston office of Betz Commercial Brokerage Inc. tells GlobeSt.com. He represented the park owner, Greenwood Business Park LLC, in both leases and was the only broker involved in the long-term transactions.
Houston-based B&G Popcorn Inc., a concession, vending supply and servicing company, relocated from within the FM 1960 area to the Greenwood Business Park because it needed extra space, King says. The move doubles the firm's distribution space.
The inbound tenants took over industrial space in twin, 15,000-sf buildings situated in a six-acre park, with just 9,000 sf now vacant. According to King, the space is going for 55 cents per sf gross.
