The firm, which manufactures and sells air conditioning ducts and related products, will pay about $350,000 to building owner, EastGroup Properties LP, over the term. Curtis Brown with Ross Brown Partners tells GlobeSt.com that the single-story industrial building at 441 W. Geneva Dr., vacated about four months ago by Albuquerque Chemical, is a prime location for the air conditioning product maker. The site will be used as a sales and distribution outlet for the firm, which has three manufacturing facilities and eight sales and distribution centers located throughout the West and Midwest.
"The location is very central and they felt their customers could easily get in and out," said Brown, who along with Rick Collins and Cameron Boyd, also with Ross Brown Partners, represented the building owner in the negotiations. Bill Honsaker in the Phoenix office of Dallas-based Staubach Co. negotiated for the tenant.
Hercules Industries, one of the largest companies of its type in the West and Midwest, has facilities in Denver, Colorado Springs, Fort Collins, Grand Junction, Pueblo, Salt Lake City and North Las Vegas.
