The shopping venue, which opened in 1995, is a 515,473-sf power center that is anchored by Target, TJ Maxx, Marshalls, Circuit City, Office Depot and Bed, Bath & Beyond. The center also includes a number of restaurants and smaller retail shops, including service businesses. Van Metre says the property management assignment will also include overseeing a sign upgrade at the center, which is situated on a 46-acre parcel at Highway 111 and Fred Waring Drive.
The management assignment adds to a portfolio of Southern California properties managed by Shelter Bay that now totals more than one million sf. The company's other Southland assignments include the Ladera Center in Los Angeles, Hollywest Promenade in Hollywood and North Ranch Pavilions shopping center in Thousand Oaks.
