Hillgren, who formerly headed Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group's Western region with responsibility for commercial property activities in California, Arizona and Washington state. He will now be responsible for commercial real estate development, acquisition and management business nationwide.
Robert J. Lowe, chairman and CEO of the firm, notes that Hillgren has developed the firm's national build-to-suit program and in his new post will provide centralized management and oversight to development and acquisition efforts.
Hillgren, a shareholder and member of the executive committee, joined Lowe in 1986. Before that he was a senior commercial broker for Cushman & Wakefield.
Lowe Enterprises Real Estate Group is the commercial real estate operating division of Lowe Enterprises, a development, investment and management firm. Over the past 31 years the Los Angeles-based firm has developed, acquired or managed more than $6 billion of real estate assets nationwide. It now manages in excess of $2 billion in real estate assets on behalf of pension fund clients.
