Output Services Group paid close to $1.2 million for the 415 W. Guadalupe Rd. building, located in the Kyrene Tech Center, in a deal with developer Kyrene Tech/LGE of Phoenix, Matt Hobaica of Phoenix-based Lee & Associates Arizona tells GlobeSt.com. "They'll occupy about 18,000 sf of the building and lease out about 7,000 sf, so it will give them room for expansion," he said of the company's purchasing decision. Hobaica said the 1.5-acre site also appealed to the firm because of its central location near the main Phoenix post office.
Output Services, which will open its Tempe office in October, had been looking at property in Los Angeles, Las Vegas and Phoenix, Hobaica noted, but selected the Arizona site because the state offers cheaper land costs and a location that allows easy access to the Western US. Darryl Starka of DKS Brokerage in Scottsdale represented the seller in the transaction. Hobaica represented the buyer.
