Since the fall of 2000, Mr. Woods has been accountable for variety of Ford'svast real estate activities.While on the corporate real estate side, his duties included oversight ofthe transaction and portfolio management of the company's real estateholdings throughout North and South America, Eastern Europe and AsiaPacific. On the development side, he assumed a leadership role in theperformance of the entire 5.5 million-sf Ford Land portfolio ofoffice, retail, industrial and hospitality properties.
Woods joined Ford Land in 1992 as a sales and leasing specialist for the2,400-acre master-planned community, Fairlane. Soon promoted to director, aposition he held through 1999, he oversaw the sales and leasing activitywithin the Fairlane development. The annual leasing activity in Fairlaneexceeded 700,000 sf of office and high technology space withaggregate lease values in excess of $50 million. Overall more than 2.5million sf of office, retail and industrial property was added tothe Ford Land's portfolio during his tenure.
Woods had worked at Cushman & Wakefield for six years, representing tenantssuch as Ameritech Publishing Inc., BMW of North America, Bozell Inc.,Chrysler Motors, Walbridge Aldinger, Kirco Realty, and Victor International.
