Boyd, who will continue as a broker as well, has been with Grubb & Ellis since 1998 and has been in the commercial real estate industry since 1981. He has participated in leasing and sales transactions totaling more than $1.4 billion and represented more than 6.1 million sf of office space in the Los Angeles area.
Although Boyd works in a number of markets, he has been known for much of his career as a specialist in the Tri-Cities market of Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena, where he has perennially been one of the top brokers in terms of transactions executed and space leased.
Jim Kruse, executive vice president and area manager for the Los Angeles Metro offices of Grubb & Ellis, notes that the senior Grubb & Ellis broker been very active in numerous community organizations. In 2002, Boyd was recognized as Glendale's Man of the Year by the Glendale Chamber of Commerce.
