Chris Caudill and Joel Michael, both with NAI Partners Commercial's Houston office, represented the tenant, Roche Bobois, in the lease negotiations. Will Stacy with Dallas-based Holt Co.'s Houston office represented the building owner, Teachers Insurance & Annuity Association of New York City.

Michael tells GlobeSt.com that the furniture company signed a long-term lease and plans to move in within 30 days. Finish-out is underway.

Michael says the Roche Bobois looked at many industrial spaces in the Westpark area, but liked the Westpark frontage and compatible tenant mix in the 104,240-sf building. About 3,500 sf will be used as a clearance center and the balance for warehouse area. Roche Bobois' primary retail store in Houston is located at San Felipe Drive and the West Loop in the Galleria. Roche will relocate the warehouse operation from a building near the Astrodome. The clearance center is a new line, says Michael.
