The college also has plans to build a new residence hall for 110 students and a 43,000-sf gymnasium as part of its "Catch the Vision" fundraising program. Half of the fundraising for the new multipurpose building is in place, with major gifts to cover the $2 million difference, said college officials.
"If we can complete three new buildings in the next decade, in my judgment, we will have in place the final pieces, 'the brick and mortar', to firmly establish Rochester College among the premier Christ-centered colleges in Michigan," said Ken Johnson, president of the college.
