Jim Biondi of the South Bay office of Grubb & Ellis says United Bakery Equipment is slated to occupy the single-story, concrete tilt-up facility, which is located at 19216 S. Laurel Park Road, in August. The building, which is known as the Robert Skeels facility, will be used for manufacturing. United Bakery will be relocating from 30,000 sf in Rancho Dominguez to its new facility, which was built in 1971.

Biondi and Terry Reitz, also of the Grubb & Ellis South Bay office, represented Parker Hannifin in the transaction. Ed Whitmore of Los Angeles Real Estate Management represented the buyer.

The building that United Bakery will occupy includes 2,500 sf of office space. It was formerly a warehousing facility for Parker Hannifin, which is a Cleveland, OH-based firm that manufactures a variety of products for industrial and aerospace uses.
