For example, NYX Inc., a provider of custom-engineering solutions to theautomotive industry, leased 66,000-sf of warehouse/distribution space atPlymouth Road Technical Center in Livonia from Ashley Capital.Gary R. Glotzhober, Larry Kelly, and Ralph Steinbrink of Colliersfacilitated the transaction for both parties.

At the property, MSM Industries leased a 16,800-sf warehouse/distributionbuilding from the Livonia Schoolcraft Association. Kelly represented thelandlord in this five-year lease transaction.

Information Systems Resources also leased 15,000-sf ofwarehouse/manufacturing space there. Kelly represented the landlord, DarrinInvestment Co., in this five-year transaction.

In Sterling Heights, Federal Express Ground leased a 65,727-sfwarehouse/distribution facility at Center Drive. Peter E. Kepic representedthe landlord, Magnum Industrial Building Co., in the transaction.

Other recent warehouse/distribution transactions include a deal by Owens &Minor, a national distributor of medical and surgical supplies, which leased105,840 sf at Van Buren Commerce Center from Opus NorthCorporation. Glotzhober represented Opus North in this transaction valued at$2.3 million.

And finally in Howell, Wal-Mart recently leased a 23,500-sf distributionfacility to support its new retail operations in Howell, MI. RobHughes of Colliers represented the landlord, Dickson-Howell, in thetransaction.
