The Placentia operation is one of a number of facilities that FedEx operates in Orange County, where it signed another lease earlier in the year for a 73,000-sf industrial building in Irvine that is one of the shipping firm's busiest Orange County package drop-off locations. At the 73,000-sf building, which is at 18651 Von Karman Ave., the shipping company signed a $3.7 million, five-year renewal at a building where it had already been operating for 10 years.
