The 193,075-sf shopping center at Diehl and Winfield roads is located next to the 5-million-sf Cantera Business Park.

Among tenants who have signed leases with Mid-America Asset Management Co. senior leasing representative Barb Kading are Go Roma restaurant for 3,200 sf, Potbelly Sandwich Works for 2,300 sf, Jamba Juice for 1,720 sf, Starbucks for 1,650 sf, and Supercuts for 1,460 sf. Bank of America also plans to build a 4,700-sf branch on a 1.62-acre site it has leased. Ryan Companies also is expected to build four restaurants on out-lots owned by Target Corp.

"This shopping center was the logical outcome of addressing the unmet demands of this market," Horne says.

Traffic counts by estimate 37,150 trips on Diehl Road and 91,000 at the nearby I-88 interchange. More than 61,000 live within three miles of the center, with a median income of $86,788.

Horne told the Warrenville plan commission earlier this year a Hilton Hotel or a Marriott Spring Hill Suites also may be built on one of the out-lots.
