The sale was made because the investorbelieves the economy is improving and is excited about the long-termviability of the Wixom real estate market, said Grubb & Ellis officials.
Company brokers Jon Savoy, David Giltner and and Larry Emmons representedboth the owner and the buyer in this transaction.
Signature Associates-ONCOR International, also of Southfield, has negotiatedthe sale of the 26,208-sf manufacturing/warehouse building locatedat 1428 E. Ellsworth Road in Ann Arbor to Cayman Chemical, a biotechresearch and development company.
Jay Chavey and Jim Harrigan of Signature brokered the deal on behalf ofThomas and Lois Hamilton, who owned the building.
