The building, one of the first refrigerated warehouses in the country, was used as a shipping-receiving center for the factory complex. It is located at the corner of River and Washington Streets, and is one of 16 structures in the Dorchester/Milton Lower Mills Industrial District, which were built between 1868 and 1947.
