MWH Americas Inc., headquartered in Pasadena, CA, has signed a medium-term renewal for 14,334 sf at 5100 Westheimer Road. Roddy McAlpine with the Houston office of Colliers International represented the tenant.

McAlpine tells GlobeSt.com that he did an extensive search for space options for his client. He says that in the final decision the economics of staying and the desirable location of 5100 Westheimer, directly across from the Galleria, induced MWH Americas to stay.

The building is owned by WOCO Investment Corp. and was represented by independent broker, Joe Evans in the lease negotiations. The approximately 112,000-sf building was constructed in 1973.

In an unrelated lease transaction, McAlpine recently represented Gilbarco Veeder-Root in a 985-sf office lease at 1525 Lakeville Drive in Kingwood, Texas. Bill Locher and Johnny Franks represented the building owner, Anchor Office Building.
