Wells hired Michael Dobbs, former senior vice president of marketing at Cingular, to direct the funds' internal and external marketing operations, corporate branding, messaging, creative teams and public relations programs. Terms of Dobbs' contract were not disclosed.
Wells sees Dobbs as "a great fit" for his company. "I'm impressed with (Dobbs') background and the strategic focus he brings to the table," he says. Dobbs has 20 years of experience in developing marketing and sales programs in both the real estate and communications industries.
Prior to his work at Cingular, Dobbs held key management positions within the BellSouth Corp. for 12 years. He also headed his own consulting firm which specialized in real estate and construction consulting. Dobbs is a former project manager at Jova, Daniels & Busby Architects and is a licensed architect in Georgia.
