"We‚re definitely looking to add employees and space in Frisco. We're notsure yet if that means expanding where we are or moving into new space,"says Dan Courtney, VP of marketing and communications for thecompany. He adds the plans are in the process of being finalized.
"We're going to move there, we're just not sure where or how we're going todo it," Courtney says.He tells GlobeSt.com that the company will move 40 employees from Californiato Texas.
It's the second time that the company has announced a major expansion ofits Frisco facility this year. The current facility, with about 250employees, is in an office park owned by Hall Real Estate on Dallas Parkway. The Frisco operations have served as its national operations center the pastthree years.
In that period, Courtney tells GlobeSt.com, that the company experiencedmeteoric growth--to become the largest private employer in the city ofFrisco.Earlier this year, BridgeSpan announced that President and CEO LarryWalker, as well as most of his management team, would relocate to thecompany's Frisco office.
Courtney said the move will enable the company's technology, marketing andfinance departments to operate from a single center and provide improvedservice as a result of sharing the same facility as the company's clientfacing teams in Texas. The transition will be completed by the end of the first quarter in 2004,he notes.
