HKT Nassau Associates combines the Paramus, NJ-based S. Hekemian Kasparian Troast LLC and the Princeton, NJ-based Nassau Capital Advisors LLC. HKT itself is a partnership of developers Samuel and Peter Hekemian, Michael and David Kasparian of Caspar Properties and Greg Troast of the Troast Group. HKT has already launched a $50 million commercial and residential redevelopment project in Englewood, NJ.

While no price tag has been announced yet, the Westfield project will include a combination of structures housing apartments and ground-level retail space. The various structures will be designed to shield two parking garages from view, according to the general development plan accepted by the town council. Further details of the project, which will also include a public plaza, are expected to be announced shortly.

"The assignment is very gratifying," says Peter Hekemian, "especially since we were in competition with nine other groups vying for the job."
