"Somewhat surprisingly, there still remains an abundance of buyers for quality residential land, especially single-family sites," according to the report. "Multifamily ground has been more difficult to sell as the apartment market has softened considerably."
Ditto for office land sales. "The office land market has all but dried up with office building vacancies at their highest point in 15 years," according to Fuller, which says it sells more land than any other brokerage firm in Denver.
"We should see few, if any, speculative office land sales for the next several years," the report notes. However, demand for retail land remains strong."Retail land continues to move as grocers, drug stores, restaurants, gas stations and most service retailers are hungry for new locations," according to Fuller.
