The Florham Park, NJ-based Kushner acquired the single-story asset two years ago as part of a larger regional portfolio. Located within an industrial park with multiple owners, the building's other tenants include Symtron Systems and US Technologies. Just under 32,000 sf of space is currently available in the building, according to company officials.
In the renewal transaction, Ira Bloom, director of leasing for Kushner Properties, repped the owner. Steve Ulin of SBWE spoke for the tenant. Kushner Properties is the commercial real estate arm of Kushner Cos., which owns and manages more than 25,000 apartment units and has a commercial portfolio of more than 7.5 million sf.
