In Florham Park, NJ, meanwhile, the law firm of Bressler Amery & Ross leased a total of 49,957 sf at the 168,000-sf 325 Columbia Turnpike, a transaction that involved a renewal of just over 40,000 sf and an expansion of almost 10,000. Marc Rosenberg of Cushman & Wakefield of NJ, East Rutherford, spoke for the tenant; Patrick Eichner, Mack-Cali's in-house leasing director, represented the owner.
In Parsippany, NJ, the investment firm of J.B. Hanauer & Co. renewed its lease for 49,000 sf at the 248,000-sf 4 Gatehall Dr. Eichner again spoke for Mack-Cali, while James Frank and David Sperling of Insignia/ESG (now part of CB Richard Ellis) represented the tenant.
Other major leases in the quarter included State Farm Mutual Auto Insurance's renewal for 20,753 at the 69,000-sf 1433 Hwy. 34 in Wall Twp., NJ with Chayes representing the owner and Richard Danesi of Insignia/ESG representing the tenant. And WB Wood Co., a contract furniture dealer repped by David Simon of Newmark Real Estate of NJ, signed a new lease for 11,500 sf at 890 Mountain Ave. in New Providence, NJ. Jane Greenblatt was Mack-Cali's in-house rep in the latter transaction.
