About 500 students are expected to takeadvanced science, math, engineering and computer-related classes in the new facility, which was designed by Fanning/Howey and Associates of Novi, MI. The building has something of an industrial look--an intentional effort, according to school administrators.
Since much of the building will be used to teach career-related classes --everything from child care to culinary arts and marketing to emergency medical technician courses--school officials said they wanted to give the building a work-place style look. Romeo officials said the opening of the new center will also help alleviate crowding at Romeo High School.
