The Meadow Club was at the vanguard of the physical fitness trend when it opened in 1976, catering to an upper-level clientele. It has been closed, however, for two years.

"This property was attractive to the buyer because of the many renovation and conversion possibilities from a business center to a new family themed venue to include arts events," says Albert M. Lindeman of Sperry Van Ness/AML Commercial Real Estate Advisors.

Future plans by Meadows Realty LLC include a yoga clinic, salon, social club and library. Other possibilities include a banquet hall, teen club, performing arts center, movie house, restaurant and holistic healing center.
