Dan Spika of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial tells GlobeSt.com that Trim Systems LLC, a manufacturer of vehicle parts, will decide by first quarter 2004 if it's taking back the building. Russell Newman of Denton has subleased the property through year's end as extra storage space for a garment manufacturing business.
Spika says his client, Trim Systems, has five years left on a 10-year lease. The building was constructed in 1998 for Trim Systems, which occupied the site for a year and then exited. The manufacturer has about 20 locations in the US for distribution and production of its wares. In the latest sublease, Jerry Coslet, a Dallas-area independent broker, negotiated on Newman's behalf.
