Overseas Trading Inc. signed a medium-term lease for a 2.5-acre property that it's occupied for more than three years, John Littman in the Houston office of Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc. tells GlobeSt.com. The Houston-based firm deals in used and recycled goods like clothing, shoes and vintage items that are sorted, graded and exported internationally.

According to Littman, the firm checked out the submarket, but remained because it was comfortable in the 21-year-old warehouse. In addition to Littman, B. Kelly Parker III and H. Frank Stanley, also with C&W's Houston office, represented the building owner, Tuffli Cos. Inc. of Long Beach, CA. Brad Marnitz of NAI Partners Commercial in Houston bargained for the tenant in the renewal negotiations.
