At the Town Center, 21 of the 28 tenants are locally owned. "Tenants are eager to locate in this unique setting and be part of the Lowry community," says Greg Moran, VP of leasing for Miller Weingarten Realty, developer of the Town Center. "They're also attracted to the convenience of being able to work and do their own errands in the Town Center without having to drive," he adds.
Moran, who lives at Lowry, says his firm worked hard to attract locally owned firms. They include: Ascent Health Center, Bellaflora, Citywide Banks, Color Me Mine, Daniel Diamonds, Delectable Egg, Elle Bleu, Esquire Fabricare, Fergie's Frozen Custard, Firefly Furnishings, Frame by Frame, Lowry Liquors, Nail Touch, Peaberry Coffee, Prudential Legend Realty, RE/MAX Avenues, Salon Tobie Urban Spa, The Watermark, Timbuck Toys, Urban Harvest and Vision First.
National franchises include Cost Cutter, Post Net and Executive Tan. Qdoba Mexican Grill, a national restaurant chain that is headquartered locally, is also a tenant. National tenants not headquartered here include Albertson's, Nextel and Pei Wei Asian Diner.
Moran notes that a number of merchants in the Town Center live at Lowry. "These people not only want to do business here, they want to be part of the community, too," he says.
