"We are breaking ground and laying another stone in the foundation of the success of Silver Spring and for the future success of Montgomery County," county executive Douglas M. Duncan says in a statement from the ceremony. "We are dedicated to supporting the high technology industries that are going to bring high quality jobs to the residents of Montgomery County." The building--partially funded by a $1 million grant from the Maryland Technology Corp.--is on schedule to reach completion next spring.
