Leader Express is moving from 2759 Old Higgins Rd. in Elk Grove Village, but is taking 21,000 sf at 35-45 W. Lake St. in Northlake. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler associate Tom Rodeno represented the freight company, while Rick Battaglia of Scarlotto & Sons represented the property owner.

The Tribune Co. leased 16,280-sf of distribution space at Woodland Business Center at 2287-2321 S. Mount Prospect Rd., three blocks south of the freight entrance to O'Hare International Airport. HSA Commercial Real Estate EVP Tim Thompson represented The Tribune Co. in negotiations with The Rose Group, owner of Woodland Business Center.

Also relocating from Elk Grove Village is international freight forwarding company UAC, but the company is taking 15,608 sf at at 1350 Michael Dr. in Lend Lease's Chancellory Business Park. Colliers Bennett & Kahnweiler VP Matthew J. Stauber represented UAC, while John Joyce of CB Richard Ellis represented Lend Lease.

Elk Grove Village has not seen a complete exodus. Floeter has leased 14,400 sf at Draper & Kramer's Regent Industrial Center at 1860 Brummell. Stauber and Rodeno represented Floeter as well as Draper & Kramer.

Air Control Inc. has leased 8,000 sf in the O'Hare South building at at 10521 United Pkwy. in Schiller Park, within Podolsky Northstar Realty Partners' O'Hare International Industrial Plaza.
