"The company was originally looking for a space ranging from 40,000 to 70,000 sf to grow the warehousing aspect of their business," says Grubb & Ellis associate Dominic Carbonari. Although terms of the deal were not disclosed, Grubb & Ellis SVP Brian Carroll adds RJW Logistics can purchase the building during the lease term.

Cushman & Wakefield most recently pegged overall vacancy in the Central DuPage County industrial market at 16%, with the average net lease rate for warehouse space at $4.69 per sf.

In an unrelated deal, Denver-based Wheel Pros Inc. has leased all 12,876 sf at 1001 N. DuPage Ave. in Lombard.
