"It is the sound work ethic of the region and the strong support of state, county and town officials that has brought us to the Roanoke Valley," Cardinal Glass president and CEO Roger O'Shaughnessy notes. The company received a grant from the Governor's Opportunity fund to assist the city in site preparation for the project, and the Virginia Economic Development Partnership and the Roanoke Valley Economic Development Partnership also assisted in making the project's location to the city a reality.

Looking ahead to the future, Cardinal Glass has selected a site that can accommodate additional development of up to 102,000 sf; the company will eventually spend $1.5 million on a second phase of the development, which is Cardinal Glass's first in Virginia.
