These are the questions that some of the top commercial real estate professionals in the Twin Cities will be addressing at RealShare Minneapolis, a half-day conference on the Minneapolis/St. Paul commercial real estate market to be held at the Marriott City Center hotel Downtown on Tuesday, Nov. 4.

The inaugural conference, which is aimed at providing information and networking opportunities for those who work in the commercial real estate industry, is sponsored by Real Estate Media, the New York City-based publishers of GlobeSt.com, Real Estate Forum and Real Estate MID-AMERICA.

"We look at Minneapolis/St. Paul as being a great market and we thought RealShare Minneapolis would be a good way of introducing ourselves to the players there," says Richard Kelley, director of the real estate media conference series for Real Estate Media.

Real Estate Media recently relaunched its Real Estate Chicago magazine as Real Estate MID-AMERICA, thereby adding a variety of Midwestern cities, including Minneapolis/St. Paul, to its coverage of Chicago, Kelley says. In addition, GlobeSt.com, Real Estate Media's commercial real estate website, recently relaunched Minneapolis as one of the cities it covers on a daily basis.

Among of the speakers are some of the top professionals in Twin Cities commercial real estate. For instance, Real Estate Media editor in chief Michael G. Desiato will moderate a special conversation: "Inside the Real Estate Mind of Pat Ryan," of the Ryan Cos. Also, the conference's "Town Hall Meeting: Better Times Ahead for Twin Cities Real Estate?" includes: Kent Carlson, VP of development, Ryan Cos. US, Inc.; Dennis Doyle, CEO, Welsh Cos.; Joe Hoesley, EVP/Group Head of Commercial Real Estate, U.S. Bank; Tim Murnane, VP, general manager, Opus Northwest LLC; and Boyd Stofer, president and CEO, United Properties. The moderator will be Dees Stribling, editor, Real Estate MID-AMERICA.

The Minnesota chapter of NAIOP is a partner with Real Estate Media in RealShare Minneapolis. The conference is sponsored by Chicago Title Insurance Co., Ryan Cos., Madison Marquette, Opus Northwest LLC, and U.S. Bank.
