The newest branch is set to rise on .9 acres at Highway 287 & Debbie Lane in Mansfield on a site leased under a long-term agreement with landlord MTC Mansfield Towne Crossing, LP.

"It's a great location in a growing market," Greg Trout, president of Dallas-based Henry S. Miller Commercial's office division, tells GlobeSt.com of the bank's site selection. "It's a great place to be because of the demographics, visibility and accessibility."

The bank, which should be open for business in about six months, is among eight new branches planned by Regions Bank for the area. The financial institution has already opened about 10 banking facilities since moving into the region about 18 months ago.

The bank has new facilities under construction in Plano, South Arlington, Preston Center, Downtown Fort Worth and Rockwall in addition to the Mansfield site, with more openings planned for the future, says Trout, who along with assistant vice president Brett Owens, negotiated the terms of the land lease for the tenant.

Just this month, Regions Bank staked its first claim in Fort Worth when it leased a 10,000-sf, ready-made spot with a drive-through lane at 100 Main St. for 10 years. That 39,848-sf office building is owned by a Fort Worth partnership, 100 Main Realty Ltd., and occupied by several law firms.
