Globaltex will spend $5.2 million to set up its new plant in the 77,000-sf digs at Rives Rd. and Rivermont Heights that formerly served as home to VF Imagewear. With the impending opening of the new facility, Globaltex will bring 154 jobs back to the US over the next three years. "This area has many advantages," notes Jose Antonio Diaz-Llaneza, Globaltex president and CEO. "It has an available pool of highly experienced and responsible textile employees; it is a community that is interested in developing new industrial investment and jobs; and it has a building adequate for our future expansion plans."
