The latest phase will push the complex, which the Woodbridge, NJ-based Wick Cos. acquired back in the late 1990s, close to the one million-sf mark in terms of total space. According to Robert G. Paulus, Wick's president, , since its acquisition his firm has rehabbed, built and leased more than 750,000 sf of industrial space at BrunsWick Industrial Park, which is located on Route 27. The two new buildings will have such amenities at 30-foot ceilings and access to fiberoptics.

Besides the actual building space at BrunsWick Industrial Park, Wick has also erected a 500-ft. communications tower on site. The tower is available for lease for a variety of telecom and wireless applications, according to Paulus.

The two new buildings follow quickly on the heels of a smaller 20,000-sf warehouse facility being added to the park's building stock. The latter facility is expected to be available for occupancy in the first quarter of next year.

Wick also recently bought the 27-acre Edison Commerce Center in nearby Edison, NJ. That particular property currently has availabilities ranging from 24,000 to 150,000 sf of light manufacturing, warehouse/distribution, office and lab space, according to Paulus.

Overall, Wick Cos. currently owns, manages and leases more than two million sf of commercial and industrial property, as well as wireless communication facilities and towers. Besides its own portfolio of investment properties, the company also consults, builds, manages and markets properties for a variety of institutional and other non-related property owners.
